HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our space is divided! Half Cat Lounge, half Coffeehouse! You can stop in for a latte and bring your laptop to work, or visit the cats and play (ages 7+ during regular business hours). Choose one side, or both! You don't need a reservation to just hang in the cafe, but for the cat lounge - scroll below!

We are in the heart of three beautiful historic districts in North Carolina: NoDa, Charlotte, Downtown Concord and Downtown Salisbury. Twelve adoptable cats roam the cat lounge ready to play! Our cafe is separate and offers coffee, wine, craft beer, smoothies, baked goods and more!

Click the "Locations, Hours + Parking" tab above to learn more!

ARE RESERVATIONS NECESSARY?

We don't require reservations to spend time with the cats, but they are highly encouraged - especially on holidays and weekends! The only way to guarantee entry is with a reservation. They are made online in advance of your arrival by clicking on our reservations tab. Hour long reservations are $12/person. Children must be 7 years old or older (no exceptions) to reserve a time during regular business hours. Younger? Keep reading down below...

Monday - Thursday: $12/person (60 min) reserved online. $8/person 30 min walk-in visitor (subject to availability).

Friday - Sunday: $14/person (60 min) reserved online. $10/person 30 min walk-in visitor (subject to availability).

Reservations guarantee your spot but we also love walk-in guests and dedicate a few spots per hour to accommodate those visiting without a reservation. Walk in spots are 30 minute visits with the cats instead of an hour- and you may encounter a wait time. Not to worry though, you can hang in our cafe or walk around town and wander back for your experience.

CAN MY KIDS COME?

To ensure the safety of our cats and your children, the age requirement is 7+ during regular business hours. No exceptions. Book a "Kitty Time" reservation (Saturday mornings at 10:00am), or a "private room" for your little ones instead to visit with the cats! (prices vary depending on location and day. All details are under the "reservation" tab for both locations)

We do not allow little guests under 7 years old in during regular business hours, so please choose from one of the options above.

CAN I HAVE THE LOUNGE TO MYSELF?

You have the option to "rent the cat lounge" at either of our locations; this is done under "reservations" and by ticking the "book entire room" option. The cafe side remains open, but only those you have invited into the cat lounge will have access, no outside guests will enter the cat area during your hour. If this is for a birthday, gifts / wrappings / balloons are not allowed inside with the cats due to safety concerns, but we can help keep them safe with staff members until your departure. We also do not allow outside food or drinks, however our selections of pastries, smoothies, hot chocolates, etc are available if you choose! There are also cute options in town (ice cream, etc) that are walk-able to extend your celebration AND support other small businesses!

I LOVE MY CAT, CAN I BRING IT?

I am sure we would love your cat too, but please don't bring him! By law, we cannot allow him to interact with the other cats and then he would be sad... and we don't want to see your cat sad.

Your cat won't mind you visiting solo - tell him it's to support homeless kitties who need some love, he will understand!

I FOUND A CAT, CAN YOU TAKE IT?

Due to the way we are permitted, we are not able to take in cats ourselves. We work directly with our rescue partner, Princeton's Meow, which provides the adoptable cats in our cafes. Please reach out to them for assistance to see if they may be able to help.

You can also click HERE for a list of additional local rescue organizations.

WHEN SHOULD I VISIT?

That depends on the vibe you're looking for! The cats are typically active early on, then sleep on and off the rest of the day, then perk up again early evening. We don't expect them to "perform" all day, so some visits may be different than others depending on which cats, and how many guests, we have in the space that day. However, with 12 cats roaming the lounge, there are always a few playing around! If you are able to visit on a week day, you will most likely get a quieter experience with a better "human to cat" ratio on average than on the weekends.

The maximum amount of humans at any given time is 10 - 12 (plus employees) depending on location.

ARE YOU WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Our Downtown Concord and Downtown Salisbury locations are ground level and is easily accessible to all!

Our NoDa, Charlotte location is on the second floor of a historic building. There is stairwell access only which has 22 steps. If anyone in your party would have a hard time climbing the stairwell, we suggest visiting one of our other locations instead!
